Ordering & License Number Information:

• As a reseller, you agree to abide by the terms of the Software End User License Agreement included in the software that you are purchasing for resale.
• Software orders are placed on a per-installation basis and / or a per-customer basis. 
   A separate order must be placed for each customer; you may not combine orders for two (2) or more customers into a single order.  Also, if a single customer has two (2) separate installations of Backup for Workgroups (perhaps in 2 different locations), then two (2) separate orders should be placed - one for each installation / location.
• The software License Numbers are issued on a per-customer basis and are for the use of that customer only.  You MAY NOT enter a License Number purchased for one customer at any other customer location other than the named customer at time of purchase.
• You will not distribute License Numbers to any third party other than the customer for whom you are purchasing and you will not publish and/or make publicly available the License Numbers you receive from Lockstep Systems.
• You will not enter illegal or pirated License Numbers into any Lockstep Systems product either for your own use or for the use of a third party.  Entering a pirated or illegal License Number is cause for termination of the Reseller relationship.
• When a License Number is entered into a Lockstep Systems product, the product will communicate with Lockstep Systems information about the installation.  You will not interfere, subvert or otherwise cause a disruption in this process.
  
  Please note:  After the License Number is typed in, the Backup for Workgroups software performs a one-time only transmittal of registration information back to the Lockstep Systems database for validation purposes.   Backup for Workgroups is not Spyware and the software does not install any Spyware-type programs on the computer.  This one-time only validation process is similar to ones used by Microsoft, Adobe and other software products.
• Lockstep Systems reserves the right to refuse any order from any party (reseller or end-user) for any reason.

Pricing Information for Resellers:

• Resellers are not allowed to post on any web site or advertise prices lower than Lockstep Systems manufacturer's suggested retail pricing.
• Resellers are allowed to quote on a private basis to their customers a price that differs from Lockstep Systems manufacturer's suggested retail pricing but Resellers may not advertise or make public this favored pricing.

Software Information:

• Resellers are not allowed to post any Lockstep Systems software .exe files on any web sites.  Any links or references to the trial downloads must be directed to the software .exe file posted on the Lockstep Systems web site.
• Resellers are not allowed to copy and paste web site content from the Lockstep Systems web site to any other web site.  All text on the Lockstep Systems web site is copyrighted material.  If you would like to include product information on your web site, please copy and paste text and links from our Approved Product Descriptions.
• All Lockstep products are retail software products with a retail-oriented software license agreement (SLA).   Retail software is not subscription based and should not be sold or rented as a service.  A reseller may choose to charge customers a monthly fee for their services, time or use of equipment, but should not charge a monthly fee for the use of the software.
